A few days ago, I attended the Annual Convention of the Indiana Alliance for Retired Americans. One speaker was Paul Severance, the developer of Reclaiming Our Elders Voice, a Certified Sage-ing Leader, an Indiana elder, a member of The Sage-ing Guild, and Founder of United Senior Action of Indiana.
What I found most interesting was the tradition of the American Indians of considering the seventh generation in all of their deliberations, particularly those of the Iroquois Confederation.
What a wonderful society we would build if we could all give the same consideration in the decisions we make as a nation.
Go to Paul's website when you have a chance.
