A couple days ago, members of the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR) and the Alliance for Retired Americans came to the informational picket line made up of workers from the Cequent Towing company in Goshen, Indiana, who have been informed that the company is contimplating moving 450 jobs to Mexico.
Goshen is in Indiana Congressional District 3 and I really thought that the candidates running for congress near this district would show up in support of these workers.
Brendan Mullen came to the picket line and gave assurance to the workers that jobs would be one of his priorities if elected to congress. His appearance was very much appreciated by the workers. Although doing a lot of talking about bringing jobs to Indiana, Brendan's opponant, Jackie Walorski, didn't see fit to make an appearance.
Many thanks to Brendan for lending his support to Hoosier workers.
